Inauguration & Design
Designed by Pakistani architect Nayyar Ali Dada and inaugurated on 6 October 2014 on Eid-ul-Adha. The architecture draws inspiration from Badshahi Mosque, Wazir Khan Mosque, and Sheikh Zayed Mosque.
Size & Facilities
Capacity for 25,000 worshippers indoors and up to 80,000 including corridors. Total construction cost exceeded 4 billion rupees (approx. $39 million). The mosque includes dedicated praying areas for women, a school, and an Islamic Art Gallery.
Bahria Orchard
Bahria Orchard is a separate, lower-cost housing community in Lahore β smaller than Bahria Town Lahore but designed for those who want modern lifestyle alongside natural beauty. Spanning green fields, fruit trees, and landscaped parks, it offers a comic-themed entrance gate and a themed landscaped park near the entrance that welcomes visitors with comfort and serenity.
